Rose Gold In Rhode Island
IMG03630.jpg

The simplicity of this beautifully modern bride-designed invitation set is deceiving! The production of this 5-piece suite required letterpress ink, foil stamping, inkjet printing, and duplexing.

The invitation features a mix of serif and san-serif letterpress text along with a small floral motif that we added in an inkjet run.

The reply postcard is a bit trickier, created from two 300g sheets, one letterpress printed and one inkjet printed and then foiled over the top. Then we duplexed and trimmed to create a single thick 600g card.

On to the agenda card! This one's printed with letterpress ink on the front and inkjet on the back of a single 300g sheet.

Finally, the reception card, travel insert, and envelope were more straightforward. Simple gray letterpress ink on 300g paper and a 120g cotton envelope.

Foil + Foliage in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden

For Taryn and Adam's wedding in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, we designed a custom foil + letterpress motif based on the garden's Palm House. Take a look at the inspiration:

We carried parts of the artwork through to reply cards, menus, programs, and even the envelopes.

Happy Halloween! (+ $100 Coupon)

Boo! This year's Parklife Halloween card features black ink plus two shades of foil on a duplexed sheet: French Paper Speckletone Kraft for the front and Kraft-Tone Ledger Green for the back.

Oh yeah, there's a discount too. Just mention this post between now and the end of November to get $100 off an order of holiday cards, business cards, letterhead, or stationery.

Hard to compete with last year's card — but I'd say we came pretty close.

A Gold-foiled Whirl

For Courtney and Ben's set, we started with our popular Whirl invitation, but added gold foil and edge paint for some extra pizzazz.

The original Whirl uses gold ink, which has just the slightest hint of metallic shimmer. But gold foil is something else entirely — it's extremely shiny with a reflective mirrored look. And if you'd like something in between, our gold satin foil is a little less intense than the gold shine used here.

For paper, Courtney and Ben went with our thick and textured soft white 600g Arturo in a 5x7 size with rounded corners. We finished out the set with our euro-flap Arturo envelopes and a gold foil + black letterpress flap.
