Letterpress Labels, Earth Tones Edition

Today we’ve got two different takes on letterpress labels.

First off, for Yay For Earth, a 6-color (!!) label on Savoy cotton paper with custom adhesive, finished with a die cut. These require super tight registration and steady inking so all the details line up and come out crisp. Thanks to @fioikeue for the wonderful artwork, and to Stevie at @yayforearth for working with us over the past couple years.

Next up, some teeny-tiny client-designed labels with gold satin foil on Gmund Dark Teal paper that we printed last summer for @solpothecary. As with the YFE labels above, these have custom-applied adhesive and a kiss-die-cut.

Biz Cards by Floc5

Here we've got a couple of sweet business cards designed by Sarah at Kansas City's Floc5. Connect with them on twitter (@floc5) or at their website.

The first is for Floc5 Homes — printed in rich black ink on thick, bright 600g Fluorescent White cotton stock.

Next we've got skinny cards for Amy Slattery of the architecture firm Odimo. We printed these with custom gray and flame red inks on 500g cotton Savoy and finished them with edge paint to match the ink.

Blind, Edged, & Converted

We've been printing fancy letterpress business cards for Norfolk creatives Grow for a while now (check it out). Recently they asked us to print simple blind-pressed, edge painted notes along with custom printed and converted envelopes.

To get the pattern on the inside of the envelope (called a "tint") we first offset printed flat sheets with a light cool gray, then folded and glued the envelopes. Finally, we added the letterpress return address and logo.
